Phillippa Groome Presents her Early Research Findings to DfT Policy Makers

The Department for Transport (DfT) invited Phillippa Groome to present her early research findings to their Skills Leads on Thursday 3rd December 2020 and to their Infrastructure Efficiency and Engineering Team on Wednesday 20th January 2021.

These presentations:

  • Stimulate shared learning between government, industry and academia

  • Channel valuable feedback for research development

  • Open up opportunities for further research engagement with attendees and their associated networks

Phillippa is a Project X Research Associate studying for her PhD at Sussex University. She is currently seconded with the Department for Transport (DfT)’s Infrastructure Skills Team as a Policy Advisor. Her research focusses on gender equality within major infrastructure projects, and the client-led initiatives driving ‘equality, diversity and inclusion’ (EDI) across the supply chain.
