The Power and Limitations of Data in Speed of Decision Making

The need for speed in delivery of major projects is an issue that is of paramount importance and is critical to an effective response to the current Covid crisis.

This research investigation is a unique collaboration, leveraging the expertise of the University of  Manchester and of Warwick and the experience of the Infrastructure and Projects Authority. It brings together the power of predictive analytics and the insight of the maieutic machine to develop an ‘events predictor index’ This index provides senior project practitioners with an approach to predict and react to unexpected speed-impinging events throughout the delivery lifecycle.
