Research by Dr Rehema Msulwa

With the support of Professor Michael Lewis

Our aim with this research is to establish what factors facilitate or hinder the robustness of the project assurance processTo identify these factors, we seek to examine how project-related information is shared and scrutinized across multiple interdependent levels during project design and development (i.e. between individual reviewers, review teams, project teams, project organisations and project clients).  We envisage that the key takeaways from this research will:

·      highlight the scope of impactful assurance

·      provide useful insights for both Highways England and for academic publication.
